Safe Swimming

It’s the one thing you mustn’t do in Darwin – don’t swim unless it’s safe. We have box jellyfish once the water get’s above 28 degrees, so even putting your toe in the ocean in the wet season (between October and March) is an absolute no-no.They’re the most toxic creatures known to humankind and can kill you in three minutes. Then there’s the snapping handbags….. don’t risk it, only swim where it’s safe, and if you’re not sure, head to your nearest swimming pool.
